A deeper thunder—maybe a 777 heading across the ocean. It's more than a hobby. It's a language I learned to speak before I ever had the chance to fly.
I wanted to be a pilot. Not the casual kind of wanting—the deep, aching kind that keeps you awake at night, staring at contrails dissolving into blue. I dreamed of cockpits and checklists, of holding the yoke as the world fell away beneath me. But life had other plans. Circumstances, as they often do, pulled me in a different direction.
Still, aviation never left me. It couldn't.
Five Years Ago
I was on a business trip—just another workday in another city. I thought this place would have everything, and I'd been searching for something specific: a large-scale aircraft model to bring home. Something beautiful. Something that would sit in my living room and remind me every single day of the dream I never stopped carrying.
But I found nothing. Just tiny 1:400 models—stunning for collectors, yes, but not what my heart was asking for.
The Spark
Disappointed, I boarded my flight home. And that's when everything changed.
The plane I stepped onto wore a special livery—a centennial design celebrating 100 years. As I settled into my seat and looked around at the striking colors and details, a thought struck me like lightning:
How cool would it be to have this exact plane at home?
And then, quieter but stronger:
What if I'm the one who's supposed to make it?
That was the spark. That single moment, 35,000 feet in the air, became the birthplace of Flying Dreams International.

This model was received as advertised. I fly airplanes for a living and love airplane models. My wife is also in aviation and shares the same passion. We are both happy with the quality. My only complaint is the landing gear will not stay in place without some modifications.
I got this FedEx MD 11 model for my son for Christmas. He works for the company. He’s gonna love it. I gotta keep it a secret. I want to see his face when he opens it up on Christmas morning.
My grandson loves the plane - it is very well made and painting is very well done - he was excited to have the tarmac, too. The lighting is great. I was disappointed with the delivery time - it took a month from time of order to delivery. I will allow for that delay for any future orders.
